Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I posted about Martinelli's about a year ago. Well Pizzaro's has taken their spot as best pizza in Bonita. Their daily specials are great deals. Be sure to check them out! Super friendly staff and yummy!

Randomly came upon Pizzaro on their "pasta" night. I'm remnded of a church dinner in the good old days where the atmosphere was pared, but the food arrived with love. Nice people here & down home food. I had penne with chicken, red pepper, mushroom, spinach & parsley. It was hot and flavorful. The chicken portion was generous. Didn't care for the garlic bread. It was tasteless to me and could have been originally intended for pizza. Just guessing. Pizzaro is crazy for daily promotions. On the day of my visit, you could look forward to half price 16" pizza on Tues, a rack of ribs+fries+cole slaw for $10 on Wed, pasta plus a take home pasta on Thurs, and prime rib+mashed potatoes+veg for $19 on Sat. Great for families and big groups.

We used pizza delivery. Quick and hot. Abundant toppings (more than I would expect from anywhere!) at a fair price and great flavor. Best delivery pizza in Bonita springs. I wish they delivered to Atlanta!

Very disappointed! Went on Yelp recommendation, which has never steered wrong things this was first mistake. Sauce on pizza was way to sweet carbonara had boil d ham not prosciutto. This will be a never return situation for us. Sad that this is where we chose for a birthday dinner. YUCK!

Omg! My husband and I stopped in here for lunch today and were very pleasantly surprised. Both his calzone and my deluxe cheesesteak were AMAZING. Our waitress was sweet and the executive chef, Anthony came out to greet us. He mentioned that he and his father started it. They feature drink specials, half off pizza Tuesday nights, and all you can eat wings on Sundays. Calling all locals, snowbirds, and tourists alike...please come out and support your tasty neighborhood pizza joint. BTW - the sub bread is made in-house and is delicious!

We came here with family for half off pizza on a Tuesday evening. Wasn't sure what to expect based on the Yelp ratings, but the pizza here was actually really great. I especially like that you can see them making the pizzas behind the bar. The staff was friendly and fun. If I lived in Florida, I have a feeling I'd be back most Tuesdays - half off a 16"? Amazing! Try the Margherita, mmm.

I ordered the Stromboli on a Saturday evening for pickup, and it was ready in under 30 minutes. All the staff were very warm and friendly. Next time I'll will probably order extra sausage and pepperoni, but it was delicious!!! I really like this place.

Found this place after the counter girl at Pino's refused to serve me an eggplant parm sub To Go at 8:36 on a Friday night, but that's a different review. The staff here was friendly and prompt. The chef came out and chatted me up about other local restaurants while he prepared my sandwich. All and all a very pleasant and friendly place. Now the food..... The eggplant parm sub was pretty damn good. The eggplant was the perfect thickness, not overly breaded and perfectly cooked. The bread was made from pizza dough which was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was excellent but I would have liked a little bit extra. The freshly made chips were a big hit. I will definitely go back.

Behind the unassuming exterior is one of best restaurants in Bonita Springs. Large Italian menu. All food is homemade. Cold Peroni on draft. Pizza is simply amazing. Best crust I have had in years. Nice people. Very inexpensive. Highly recommend. You'll come for lunch but then come back for dinner once you taste the food here.

More like Bizzaro's. Maybe I've been watching too much Kitchen Nightmares lately, but I was channeling Gordon Ramsey from the moment I walked in. We requested a table over a booth and were seated directly in front of the door with the Florida sun shining in my eyes the entire meal. I would have requested another table if this place wasn't almost exclusively booths. Our server took our order and couldn't pronounce the dish my partner ordered when we asked. She told us there were a lot of tickets so it might be a while. When she brought our salads a piece of pepper fell onto the tray and she put it back on my plate and said "I didn't want you to miss that." The salad dressing tasted like water and the bread was black. My eggplant had good flavor, but it was so covered in cheese that it was a soggy mess and I had to saw through it. Another server noticed our empty drinks and offered to refill and amazingly our server swooped in and said "I'll get it." When she brought our refills (which we were charged for) she noticed the huge wine list in the center of the table that I had moved to block some of the sun and said "Using this to block the sun? I know it's annoying." Then she moved it and walked away! The only upside is that the manager and chef both checked in on us and were friendly. I don't think these people aren't trying, I just think they don't know what they're doing. In the end they took half off an entree, but never explained why.

Not impressed with the pizza. Not much taste and we ordered sausage and peppers, however very little of those on the pizza. Rather dissatisfied with the pizza.

We spoke to the waitress when we placed our order about how we like a thin crust pizza. It did not help because it came out way too thick and heavy and almost impossible to hold. Don't go there for pizza. The dinners we saw coming out of the kitchen looked good. Maybe we'll come back to try one sometime.

We very much enjoyed Pizarro's last year when we were wintering in Bonita Springs and now it's even better. Anthony is the new owner and he is doing everything he can to make it the best possible dining experience. We've had takeout and have dined-in and have concluded he is succeeding in his effort! The pizza is outstanding and was delivered hot the first night we arrived in town. The subs are also delicious. Last night we dined in and were served by Marissa and Christina, both of whom were charming and attentive. We had shrimp scampi and Frutti del Mare. The scampi was delicious (maybe could have used a little more garlic) and the Frutti del Mare earned an 8 out of 10 from my husband. The side soup was a chicken and spinach combo that was truly delightful! We will definitely be back and will bring friends.

Have been here three times, and the food has been great each time. Have had pzza, lasagna, (which is fantastic), and a cheese steak. All were made to order, came out of the kitchen piping hot, and fresh. You also get a nice side salad with pasta dinners, and great garlic bread. Portions are large, and you get two meals out of each order. Hidden gem,

Moved here from Michigan 2 years ago, and if you like Michigan round pizza, this is the place! The best Pizza in SW FL (according to my 11 year old son and my husband)! Everything is large portions and fresh. Staff is incredibly pleasant and helpful. I eat here for lunch at least once a week and, it is one of the best values in SW FL.

We had Pizzaro's deliver last night and it was very good. My husband has chicken a la vodka and liked it. I had the Shrimp scampi and it was also good. The garlic bread was awesome. As well as the salad. This is the best delivery restaurant we've found so far in Bonita springs.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
